from 'Southern Division Air Operations' based out of Fullerton, CA.
allowed me to see some true professionals at work. I was truly
impressed with these guys - they knew what they were doing and did
it quite well. Over the last 20 years I've worked many radio-runs and many dignitary escorts with the NYPD Aviation Unit; they too are an impressive bunch. I have come to realize if you're going to be trusted to fly an object that costs millions of dollars 100's of feet off the ground that you've got to be an impressive individual and these CHP Guys give such an impression. What a great time! The view of Disney, the HOLLYWOOD sign and the skyscrapers of Los Angeles were just awesome from up above. Although, I have to say LA's 'sky scrapers' have nothing on NYC! LOL |
